Yoga
Find peace, strength, and lightness — on the mat and in everyday life.
Yoga at Studio Core & Emotion means conscious movement, mindful breathing, and connecting with your own body. Our classes combine strength and calm, stability and flexibility — for a holistic workout that brings body, mind, and soul into harmony.
Each unit is designed to meet you where you are: whether you want to start the day with energy, let go in the evening, or simply center yourself—yoga gives you clarity, stability, and inner peace.
In our classes, we combine dynamic sequences (flows) with conscious breathing, strengthening asanas, and mindful moments of stillness. You'll strengthen your muscles, improve your posture, and at the same time find space to let go and recharge your batteries.
Studio Core & Emotion offers various yoga styles that complement each other harmoniously: energizing morning yoga, balancing evening flow yoga, regenerating yin & restorative yoga, as well as specialized formats such as yoga for pregnant women and yoga for mothers and babies.
All classes are taught in small groups with personal guidance — for maximum attention, safety, and mindfulness. Whether you are new to yoga or an experienced practitioner, here you will find your space for movement, balance, and conscious connection with yourself.
Frequently asked questions
Is yoga suitable for beginners?
Yes, all of our yoga classes are structured so that both beginners and experienced practitioners can participate. Our teachers provide variations for every level and guide you mindfully through the practice so that you can practice safely and at your own pace.
Am I too old to practice yoga?
Not at all! Yoga can be practiced at any age—and many people only discover its positive effects later in life. The exercises can be adapted to suit individual needs, so you can always practice at your own pace and within your own capabilities. Yoga strengthens the body, improves flexibility, promotes balance, and helps reduce stress—regardless of your age. Our teachers will sensitively support you in developing a safe and beneficial practice.
What should I bring to yoga?
Please bring a water bottle (no glass bottles) and a towel, and wear comfortable clothing (e.g., leggings and a top) that allows you to move freely. All training equipment such as mats, bolsters, yoga blocks, and straps are provided free of charge in the studio.
Do I need to be particularly flexible to do yoga?
No! Flexibility is not a must, but develops over time. Yoga is not about perfection, but about awareness, breathing, and movement. Everyone starts where they are.
What is the difference between yoga and Pilates?
Yoga and Pilates complement each other wonderfully, but differ in their focus. Both promote body awareness, concentration, and breathing. While yoga is more focused on flexibility, stretching, and mindfulness, Pilates emphasizes strengthening the core, precise movements, and controlled stability — for strong posture and better body awareness.

What if I have physical complaints?
Please inform your teacher before the class so that she can tailor the practice to your individual needs. Many complaints can be positively influenced by specific yoga exercises—in cases of acute pain or after surgery, we recommend consulting your doctor beforehand.
